Wow! What a weekend. Ample snow everywhere, and a fluffy consistency to boot! About 2 or 3 inches fell on Sunday, with the wind depositing deeper amounts in some locations. We stuck primarily to the trees due to weather conditions on Sunday, and while we foolishly put off a Kachina Peak hike until Sunday, the weather that day forced the patrol to close the high line beyond Juarez. Numerous hikes to Juarez, St. Bernard and others delivered fluffy bumps in which to play. Cover is excellent - only saw a grabber or two poking through on the steepest and most natural terrain. Bluebird skies on Saturday followed by a little bit of fresh on Sunday led to a perfect weekend.

FYI, be careful at Taos right now - we had 2 pair of skis stolen from in front of the cafeteria on Saturday, and from the looks of the report list, we were hardly alone.
