02/25/01Snoqualmie Pass,
Skied Silver Fir at Central and Hyak. Temp warmed up from mid-30s to 48. Sunny with a few clouds made for near spring-time conditions. Starting to see
folks in just a vest over long johns. AM grooming on Outback and Hog Wild made for some ripping cord runs and as the day went on, the snow got softer
and softer. Didn't get to the Slushy stage though. Very short lift lines all day, max wait was less than 5 minutes even at the busiest. At Hyak, Blowdown's
bumps were extremely manageable with no ice in the zipperline. So much fun, we did it several times. Of-piste was tougher though, heavy snow made for
mostly hop turns, so we spent most of our time on trail. All in all, another one of the best of the season. - TomK
