12/02/01Snoqualmie Pass, <BR>Went up and did a few hours at Summit West on Sunday. Snow conditions are good. Fresh tracks still were to be had along the edges of some of the more obscure runs and usual powder pockets. It did start getting warm and crusty after 1 PM, but just the top. Everything was skier groomed from Saturday. Crowd was not as heavy as I had feared, the longest lift wait was 15 minutes or so. 20 for T-Bird. Drove over to Central and Hyak, they are looking pretty well covered, this week's storms should make them openable (Alpental opens this week). THey were closed Mon/Tue due to low snow conditions and not enough traffic, but night skiing starts this Friday. TomK - 2 sticks and no brains.
