Shoulda been here yesterday! That's what I heard many times today. <BR> <BR>They received 5 inches yesterday and supposedly the skiing was fantastic. I can't comment on yesterday but today has been the best I've skied during the last 4 days. Believe it or not but Vail is 100% open. My wife and I headed out to the bowls and they were pretty good. There was still some left over powder in many places. Went into the woods every other run and was rewarded big time. After one fall I proceeded to use my ski pole to right myself and it never hit bottom. There was even powder left for the taking at the top of the Poppyfields in China Bowl. I plan on hitting Blue Sky Basin tomorrow. <BR> <BR>During the past week I have skied Keystone, Beaver Creek and now Vail and Vail has, by far, the best conditions within 2 hours of DIA. With the snow they are predicting for this weekend, it should be spectacular. Wish I was going to be here to ski it! <BR>PS
