Alta, Utah 2/10

Clear skies, great snow after 8 inches new Friday night. We're here for 4 days of Olympics, but a pleasant byproduct is uncrowded ski areas. How often do you see NO LIFT LINES on a nice February Sunday at Alta? This was the first time I've ever seen it at any time of year, and this was my 17th day skiing Alta since 1981. Enough locals came out Saturday to track up the fresh, but the leftovers were still pretty good in out of the way places like Westward Ho and Eagle's Nest.
