We saw the snowboard parallel GS finals in the morning and skied a half day afternoon. It was sunny all day, but temperatures were cool enough that all the groomed runs still had good packed powder, even on the often sloppy lower mountain. I had not been here since 1994, so I went to check out the new McConkey's lift. Its ungroomed bowl had somewhat hardpacked snow, so I moved on to Jupiter Bowl with its more Cottonwood Canyon-like conditions and more expansive terrain.

There were more skiers here than at Alta, but still many fewer than normal and not enough to create any lift lines.
