Snow was great every place I skied today. Wind Buff, Spring Corn, Slush, Packed Powder... o boy I love a 40 degree day outside in the snow!

I'll be up there this weekend. Adam skied Jan. 3-4 at Heavenly and it was not that great. On Jan. 5 it rained at lake level and at least partway up the hill. Given both depth of snowpack (Tahoe completely missing that first storm back in early November) and the recent and current weather, conditions at Mammoth rate to be substantially better than anywhere at Tahoe until the next big storm, with none expected anytime soon.
