Telluride is skiing OK for the Christmas period.

They are a little under the 40" --- the mark which generally indicates acceptable conditions across the entire mountain. It is slighlty below average, but OK for the most part. The lower slopes are fine. Beginner/intermediate terrain is all open and skiing fine. North facing expert bumps/steeps are fine -- However, there was been no 'wet' storm to lay a base on the more exposed areas -- therefore western exposures not so good.

12/24: The 8-16" storm results in only 4" of snow. It was so odd too - Montrose and the Dallas Divide were getting a legitimate storm. Meanwhile, Placerville-Sawpit-Telluride were partly sunny with squalls.

12/26: Cold, cold, cold, I wanted to stay in the sun since highs were maybe 20F. Therefore, western exposures were in order -- cruisers on Ch 4 and 5. And went up high to pick lines in the Revelation Bowl.

12/27: Cold, cold, cold. A box canyon can cool down to -10F easily. There is no reason to get on the hill until 10F or 11am. Today was mostly a steep groomer day -- Bushwacker, Plunge, Lookout, Coonskin are perfectly covered 1500-2500" vert chalky sheets. Basically created a GS course on of them. Did a few hikes in Prospect - Bald, Slides, the short hikes.

12/28 - Temps moderate and ski the entire mountain -- focusing a little more on bumps and groomers than the alpine.

I will get some pictures up, but they will not be extensive due to the cold.
