Due to our move to new servers, the date and time attributed to this post is incorrect.)</I> <BR> <BR>I apologize that this report is a little late, but travel back to Florida made it difficult to submit until now. <BR> <BR>Afton on Thursday night was a joy. Virtually all of their north-facing runs were open, constituting roughly 50% of their terrain, but due to its size this was more terrain than I'd skied all week in the Twin Cities. It was cold and dry: perfect snowmaking weather, and Afton was certainly taking advantage of this with the guns going full blast. Conditions ranged considerably, from firm packed powder and loose granular to soft, fluffy top-quality manmade where the guns were going. Coverage was exceptional, with nary a bare or icy spot to be found. <BR> <BR>It was remarkable to me in view of the weather that Minnesota and Wisconsin has experienced up until this week, that during the entire week I hit not a single rock or bare spot.
