(This is a continuation of the "Marmot Basin" thread - I went ahead and changed the subject of the thread to be consistent with the matter being discussed.) <BR> <BR>David, we've followed the Cairngorm funicular project with interest for the past couple of years - the relatively significant lift investment for a hill of its size; its replacement of an old, historic chair; and the environmental debate. I suppose that given the location's history of horrific winds, it's an appropriate installation. A snowsports journalism colleague based in Scotland has kept us up-to-date, combined with newspaper pieces from periodicals such as the <I>Scotsman</I>. Feel free to post to the "No-Bull Ski Reports" section of these discussion boards whenever you head over there.
