Southeastern Lower Michigan update

Postby mikesathome » Thu Dec 20, 2007 3:04 pm

After a good snow storm on 12-15-07 all local hills are open 100% (Brighton is at 60%, the challenge and night skiing till 2am will start this weekend, weather permitting)

We had a good dump for Metro Detroit 8" to 10" fell, woo hoo!

I was out at Alpine Valley on 12-17-07, and the runs were a little icy, but for the most part packed powder.

Some slight chances of rain this weekend, with cold and snow after the front moves thru. late saturday night

Overall, a really good start for Metro Detroit!
For me, skiing is a physical necessity. I have a need for risk.
