Mt Holly 1-4-08

Postby Mi Skier » Tue Jan 08, 2008 5:26 pm

Went to Mt Holly on Friday night before all the rain. I have never seen it that busy there before. The ski rangers did a great job of making sure each chair was full witch kept the lines to around 1-2 mins. The snow was 99% packed powder with a small amount of ice. I'm not sure how much snow they will lose with all this rain but they had at laest 2-4 feet in most areas and a lot more in font of most of the snow guns. All in all a very good trip.

LOL @ Ski Rangers, I like that name, more of a army feel to it.

Glad to see they were making people fill up the chairs, I swear just about everyone in Michigan would ride up solo if they could.

Thanks for the report
For me, skiing is a physical necessity. I have a need for risk.
