When I got there at 4pm its was 34 degrees out . The snow was hard packed with sugar snow on top. The hard pack was just soft enough that your edge would take hold. Later in the night the base got rock hard ,but if your edges are in good shape and you know how to use them you could still make a good turn. Overall I skied for 7 hrs with my daughter and for me that's what is all about, good conditions are just a bouns.I was shocked to see how empty it was for a Sat. night , when on Wed. they got around 10" of snow. There were maybe 5 people in line at the most, and they had all but one lift running all night.
