Skied Pine Knob from 3pm till 6pm Wednesday 11-26-08
There was a long line to get your lift ticket (waited 10mins), as the Jr High and high School kids were out in full force.
I was very happy to see that most of them were on the beginner hills, or just standing around looking cool, so the "advanced" lift lines were ski right up and get on the lift.
Skiing was fast, could not find any ice. 90% of the place is open, and the park had some good jumps/rails/boxes
Lifts were $30

Off to Alpine Saturday afternoon.
Might see a good dump of snow Sunday night into Monday morning in Southeast Michigan, and the next few weeks forecast looks like winter is here to stay.

"Cold and Snowy Trend to Continue into the First Part of December

The cold and snowy trends that have plagued the Great Lakes from the second week of November, are expected to continue right into the first week or two of December. A storm system will develop across the Tennessee and Ohio Valleys on Sunday and Monday. This storm is expected to bring accumulating snowfall to Southeast Michigan. Behind this system will be more cold Canadian air for the begining of next week. Then a series of weaker storms will dive out of Canada and usher in additional arctic air toward the end of next week."
