Alpine Valley 11.29.08

The day was 39* and sunny, very light snow cover on the runs, very hard packed with some ice.

Until they make more snow (or more natural snow), Pine Knob has the most open and has about 6" or 8" new snow on the ground after Sundays Storm.
For me, skiing is a physical necessity. I have a need for risk.

Thanks for the reports, the websites for the small places in SE Michigan are a little lacking in good info sometimes. Sounds like you guys got a little snow up that way. All we got in Toledo was rain. Hopefully the good early season weather continues, i would like to get up to Alpine or Holly before Christmas.
