Mt Brighton

Postby mikesathome » Mon Feb 09, 2009 9:36 pm

started about 10:30am with mostly cloudy and 36*
The groomed Snow had a nice 1/2" to 1" spring corn slush on top, made for quick edge to edge turns on the twins \:D/
Temps jumped up to 42* by 1pm and the snow was getting softer so i switched to the snowboard for a while.
The park still had lots of rails and boxes and jumps open.
I don't know how well Mt Brighton or any of the S.E. Lower Michigan ski hills will do with two days in the 50's to near 60*
and maybe 1" to 2" of rain by Wednesday! after all this cold we get a spring thaw

The bare back side of mt. Brighton, has not been open in years. Don't want to hurt the golf course? :(

For me, skiing is a physical necessity. I have a need for risk.
