Pine Knob 3.14.09

The knob pushed enough slush and snow around to open all runs and both parks for this weekend!
Very light crowds and abundant sun shine and upper 40's really made for some great skiing and riding, the slush was fast as i hit 45MPH according to my GPS, I never hit that speed here before so it must be the fast slush.
There was a end of year ski race going on and that was fun to watch.
$25 lifts were also nice :)

This might have been the last weekend as 60s are in the area by Tuesday and more rain.

Northern Michigan will likely hold on for 1 or 2 more weeks.

Time to UPS the ski gear box to Colorado this week \:D/
For me, skiing is a physical necessity. I have a need for risk.
