Bittersweet 1.1.10

Postby mikesathome » Sat Jan 02, 2010 11:17 am

Drove 150miles to enjoy Lake Michigan snow squalls and a High Speed Chair lift, racked up about 10k lol not bad for a 300VERT hill.
Since I was there solo, the singles line was moving fast, all other lines were pretty long, hills were busy. They have a very good terrain park, much better than any SE Michigan ski areas park, the boxes and double boxes are all over and placed well.

My skiing GPS track for the day, I switched to the snowboard for the rest of the night after a couple hours of skiing.

Skied there quite a bit a few years back, not a bad little place!
What's better than some downhill . . .

Yes fun little place.
Once thing I do like about them is they let you BBQ and enjoy a beverage in the parking lot. They have a lift or two that just about load from the parking lot, so it would be nice to ski down and fire up the grill.
