As I continue to wander around the Internet, waiting for the season to start, I continue to encounter unique video. Here's a helmet cam shot indoors at Ski Dubai:

That would be Meadowlands Xanadu, patterned after Madrid Xanadu in Spain.
 
i'd have to disagree with the negative slant...i'd be stoked to ski it if it was nearby...excellent op to work on technique and turns....great op to introduce small ones to sliding on the snow so you can bring em to the real hill and have em going right away and not have to waste time or money learning on the real goods....
 
I was frankly surprised that the video lasted as long as it did. I wonder if there's enough length/vertical for some race gates.

I would think that terrain parks would be another obvious attraction to get repeat customers instead of the one-shot novelty aspect that some of us here would try.

Now if they built a seeded bump run in a dome, joegm & co might even become regulars :wink: .
 
If global warming continues to increase, we may all be skiing year round in such a climate controlled "dome" like this one. I'd hate to think what the air conditioning bill is for this place in Dubai.
