My birthday present to myself

Daddy's got a new pair of skis! One good thing about bringing home a new pair of skis on your birthday is that your wife can't give you crap for adding yet another pair of skis to the quiver. :wink:

Going to mount them with some Silvretta Pure bindings. The whole ski/binding package will weigh only 6.08 lbs each, or 10.28 lbs per foot for ski, boot and binding!

nice! do be sure to report back on how those pures work out. we see a lot of talk about the freeride and naxo but not much beta on the pures. having a light weight option around sounds like a nice idea, not any time soon for me though.
