Searchmont Reviews?

Searchmont is a great ski/snowboarding area, with some hard terrain and 700 vertical feet, you wont find that at other ski areas like boyne, or nubs nob in lower Michigan.
The lodge is very rustic and not much happens once the lifts stop going other then a small bar and some finger foods.
They have a small amount of on hill lodging and a few places close by.
This place is 5mins from the ski hill, you can stay in a "Li'l Red Caboose"

If you want to stay in a "City" the drive from Sault Ste Marie, ONT is about an hour to the hill.
Sault Ste Marie, ONT has some fun bars, a casino, adult bars and lots of places to stay and eat.

I make the trip over to Windsor about once a week, and it is not very bad at all. Going into Canada is always fast, coming back into the USA you can have a little longer wait.

You need either a passport, or valid drivers LIC. and birth certificate.

As for hold times up there in Soo Canada (International bridge) I have no idea, but they do post them online somewhere.
