Yes, after the first run at Bridger I was sort of embarrassed about the warning I had issued in e-mails (never having seen him ski) that he would need fat skis for a western trip.If you've never skied with Patrick... "Le Barbu" is, to put it mildly, a really strong skier. You don't mind eating his dust, because he's so much fun to watch.
That is my opinion also.At his level, he could be on a pair of 2x4s, and it wouldn't make a difference.
I think it was the University (equivalent of Division 1 US) racing.Maybe there's something to be said for skiing lots of days on Ottawa molehills...
