skiing in the hot and arid east

I've always wondered why they didn't build that under rather than above ground in that climate. Top of the lift would be on the ground floor of the mall.

Because they'd hit oil. Big fire hazard. ;)
 
Saw that one a couple years ago now.

I have a PPS file showing the ridiculousness of one of the royal palaces/residences over there including the fleet of cars and a literal Silver Mercedes (as in the actual metal Silver used for all the body panels), etc... I'd attach it, but I don't own the copyrights or whatever it might have.. It was one of those things that gets forwarded all over the internet via email so I assume some of you probably have already seen it...
