Well, I am surprised and happy that some ski areas are still trying to hang on for a little longer, i don't know how they will do it after looking at some web cams.

Mt Holly:
Currently closed. Unless winter stages a blustery return we thank your for your patronage this season and look forward to skiing and snowboarding you next season.

The groomers are on the hill! Our tentative plan is to open Friday night for the 3-11pm session and on the weekend for the day sessions only 9am-5pm. keep you updated.

Weather for the next few days:
Today: Scattered snow showers before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 27. Northwest wind between 7 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Tonight: Patchy fog after 2am. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 13. North northwest wind between 3 and 6 mph.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 39. Calm wind becoming southwest around 6 mph.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 21. West southwest wind around 6 mph.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 47. Calm wind becoming southwest between 5 and 8 mph.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 26.
Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 47.
Sunday Night: A slight chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30.


If Pine knob opens, Saturday looks to be the best day.
