whistler blackomb pre-season report

i thought i'd post, just cause i'm starting to get pumped about the season.
it's been snowing consistently in the alpine for the last week or so, and they're calling for significant accumulation over the next five days. maybe worth a hike?
the snow line has also been falling over the last week, this morning almost to the highest level of housing in creekside. and just drove home from the village tonight to the happy sight of snow in the valley.
the next month is going to drag, but the season is just around the corner...

here's what i'm looking at today:



at 7pm tonight, there's about a 6" buildup on the valley floor. i'd guess 2-3 times that much halfway up the mountains.
