A bit of everything.

Weather was interesting being near freezing level with everything from partly sunny to heavy snow to graupel back to part sun to flurries, etc... First run was firm underfoot in most places with a bit of not re-frozen softness in other places. Then it started snowing heavily, leaving an inch+ of thick peanut butter which skied surprisingly decently for the rest of the day. Crowding was a non-issue since temps were and have been warm enough down low that skiing is becoming an afterthought for many front range folks.

Jr is skiing like a madman at times on lower angle blues now and even on short steep pitches. He also demands to go off the mini jumps in the terrain park and a lap in the 'halfpipe' (more like a dirt ditch where the halfpipe used to be) a couple laps before we head to the car.

Overall not too bad of a day considering the Colorado warmth in recent weeks; though not even in the ballpark of the skiing I was getting up North in Canada last week.
