Stowe will try to open in a few weeks.....it begins.

with the upcoming weather pattern , Killington should be able to open next week..

And of course, its become a mixed forecast. Hopefully it won't turn into a skating rink. Early season fun. But I have to get my boots dialed in, bindings adjusted, maybe try the fat boards. Although that may be a bit sporty for the conditions.

Good top to bottom skiing was had Friday and Saturday. Sunday it rained so I packed it in. Not a bad start to the season. I got in 10 runs on Friday and 18 on Saturday. Friday was cold and very windy, Saturday warmer with little to no wind until the storm started moving in.
Even tried out the fat boards for a few runs, which was, sporty. The new boots fit well and are a big improvement over my tired Garmonts. Much lighter and tighter.
