The 6 to 7 feet of snow reported is legit. Yesterday, powder and tracked powder everywhere, even Canam had soft tracked up dry powder snow. Normally this trail is all ice and rock. You could not go wrong yesterday in where you picked to ski as the entire mountain was easy turning. The Tram and the Flyer were down on Friday (16/3) (wind) and down again yesterday morning (wind) until around 11.00 to 11.30.With these lifts down used the Bonnie chair and hiked over to the flyer area and the summit for the best runs of the day. Managed to get 4 solo runs in before the lifts started up. Probably one of my best days in years at Jay. Attached some pics while heading to the summit before the lifts turned on and the masses showed up.
