Full Winter.

More than a foot of new snow this week in the mtns (and even several inches in Denver) and of a moderately dense enough variety meant very little to almost no scrapey spots, barring the bottom 300-400 verts. And even then only a little bit of scratch. I'd have to call it some of the best non-powder day snow of the season.

Unfortunately the entirety of the back bowls were closed. So that kept us in places like Alpine lift (hardly skied in places) and lots of afternoon laps in Union bowl/Sierra lift terrain. Fortunately they were smart enough to keep the upper poma open... A mix of occasional sun, but more time in the clouds or even decent snow squalls that added perhaps another inch over the day.

An even better part was the lack of traffic jams on the way home, though a few minutes of stop and go on the way up.
