after a couple of great days at the loaf last week, this week i skied the rivah with a mount washington day in between and another tomorrow, love bein on extended vacation. boyne definitly has it goin on as sunday rivah was as hero as hero gets and then some. u can always count on lots a grooming at the riv and thats exactly what i got. 50 out of 67 groomed with unreal good bumps on downdraft, topgun and agony to name a few. don't know how they groom with temps so warm at night, but they get it done. now, the loaf hasn't groomed in over a week and i wasn't lookin for groomed there so the riv produced a different product but, luscious just the same. just imagine a hot butterknife slicing it's way down through a room temp stick with no hard bottoming and that would describe 16 hours of lift served over two days. i felt like i was floating on air the whole time and would ski a sweet bump run just to bring myself back to earth. th icelantics were ridin right on top of the cream in every situation. skiing there was just as good today there as two days ago and the closing w/e will be a graceful one. back up to the big hill tomorrow as i was yesterday to get a deeper workout and get a little bit of help from gravities pull.
