The card is the result of the ski resorts' partnership with Greene County Tourism, and seeks to offer deals encompassing the Northern Catskills region. Hunter Mountain and Windham Mountain are minutes apart and offer over 100 trails between them, a two-hour drive from the New York City metro area.
"This is a great way to cross-promote, and to offer our guests another place to visit when they spend time in the Northern Catskills," said Brian Czarnecki, Director of Marketing at Hunter Mountain. "Better than one resort so close to home is two. It's difficult to find lift tickets for $32 these days, and we are really glad we are able to offer it for another season."
"We are always looking for ways to enhance our guests' skiing and snowboarding experience, and the Wintercard provides another great option," said Kirt Zimmer, Director of Marketing and Sales at Windham Mountain.
The Wintercard is on sale now at www.huntermtn.com and www.windhammountain.com. The card is on sale for a limited time only, but is valid throughout the 2008-09 season, except for peak holiday periods (December 26 - January 4, January 17-19 and February 14-22). Unused visits cannot be carried forward to next season. If lost or stolen, it cannot be replaced.
