Bartlett, NH (Wednesday, January 22, 2003) - On Saturday Feb. 8, 2003, riders and skiers will have their first opportunity at winning one of three Palmer Ridercross/Atomic Skiercross races held at Attitash Bear Peak this season.

Attitash Bear Peak groomers will create a challenging and technically demanding course in the Palmer-X Terrain Park on Thad’s Choice including a variety of terrain features: moguls, bank turns, table tops, and rollers with a big air finish. The first racer over the finish line wins in each heat.

Prizes will be awarded from Palmer and Atomic including skis and snowboards. Points earned from top finishes will accumulate towards a final series winner.

Registration is from 8 to 9:30am, Saturday morning in the South Wing of the Attitash Base Lodge. The race fee is $10 plus a lift ticket. The race begins at 11am.
