Hood River, OR (Thursday, January 23, 2003) - Dakine has announced that Candide Thovex has joined its ski team roster.

Thovex took the top spot overall in the Rip Curl Freeski Event held in Saas Fee, Switzerland in December. His talent will be on display in the upcoming ESPN Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado later this month. Thovex can also be seen in a mind-blowing segment of the recent Matchstick Productions release, "Ski Movie 3."

In addition to Thovex, the Dakine ski team roster includes Micah Black, Jamie Burge, Chris Collins, Matt Collins, Chris Davenport, Wendy Fisher, Kristi Leskinen, Jonny Moseley, Ryan Oakdon, Jamie Pierre, Eric Pollard, Evan Raps and Dave Swanwick.
