K2 Promotes Robert Marcovitch to President of Ski, Snowboard, Skate and Bike Division

Los Angeles, CA (Thursday, January 23, 2003) - K2 Inc. this week announced that Robert Marcovitch has been promoted to President of its Ski, Snowboard, Skate, and Bike Division. The division is based on Vashon Island, Washington. Marcovitch has served as President of K2 Canada since joining the company in 1999, following the acquisition of Ride snowboards, where he was President and Chief Executive Officer.

Commenting on the promotion, Wayne Merck, Chief Operating Officer of K2 Inc., said, "Robert has done an outstanding job at K2 Canada since joining the K2 team.
