Fernie (BC), Canada (Friday, January 31, 2003) - Fernie Alpine Resort has postponed its 20th Annual Powder 8’s Championship until Saturday, February 22, 2003. Precipitated by snow conditions, the date change will provide Fernie with the opportunity to hold a Powder 8’s weekend with the adult competition being held on Saturday, February 22 and the juniors on Sunday, February 23, 2003.

For the adult competition, early bird registration is $60.00 per team prior to Wednesday, February 19, 2003 with late registration of $70.00 per team accepted until 9:00 am on the day of the event.

The junior competition is $40.00 per team prior to Thursday, February 20, 2003 and late registration, $45.00 per team, is accepted until 9:00 am on the day of the event.
