Okemo Announces Staff Promotions and Additions
Ludlow, VT (Thursday, May 22, 2003) - Tim and Diane Mueller, owners of Okemo Mountain Resort today announced staff additions and promotions to the "Okemo team".
Charlie Dickerman - General Manager, Jackson Gore Inn: Charlie Dickerman has been hired as the General Manager of Okemo's new Jackson Gore facility. As the senior manager of the new resort center, Charlie will oversee all phases of the operation for the 117-room condominium hotel and resort facility, which is currently under construction. Charlie brings to Okemo his knowledge of both the hotel and ski industry from 5-star hotels and resort destinations in Georgia, Virginia, Florida, Massachusetts and Maine. He most recently served as the Vice President of Hotels at Sunday River Resort in Bethel, Me. Charlie and his wife, Diane plan to relocate to the Okemo/Ludlow region.
Chip Steward - Sales Manager:
Chip Steward joins the Okemo Sales team as the Sales Manager. Chip comes to Okemo from Mount Sunapee, NH where he previously worked with sales, promotions and events. Chip will oversee all aspects of the sales, promotions and sponsor/partner initiatives for Okemo in local, regional and destination markets, as well as the day-to-day operations of the Sales Center. Chip and his wife Kellie are expecting their second child and have relocated to the Ludlow region.
Diane Ponto - Accounting Analyst:
The Accounting Department has announced that Diane Ponto has been promoted to the position of Accounting Analyst. Diane will be responsible for the monthly analysis of balance sheet controls and the general details for Mount Sunapee Resort in NH. She will also oversee the auditing functions for both Okemo and Mount Sunapee. Diane and her husband, Bob reside in Chester, VT.
