Eat Your Way Through Killington
Killington, VT (Tuesday, January 20, 2004) - Food lovers will find plenty of locally-prepared dishes to try during the Taste of Killington Week, scheduled for January 25-30 at the central Vermont resort, and also earn a chance to win a ski weekend getaway.
During the Taste of Killington Week, skiers and riders can pick up Dine-Around Cards, valid for 10 percent off meals at participating restaurants in the region. Every time the card is used, the cardholder receives a stamp on the card. By Friday, guests submit their Dine-Around Cards at any participating restaurant or at the Killington Base Lodge Guest Services Desk. Those with the most stamps at the end of the week will be entered into a drawing to win a Killington Ski Getaway. All activities during the week are food oriented.
Dine-Around Cards will be available at all participating restaurants as well as the Killington Base Lodge Guest Service Desk.
Various theme nights have been created at different restaurants throughout the week where guests can earn two stamps. The first theme dinner is a Caribbean Night at Cascades Restaurant on Monday night. Theme night diners include: - Monday: Caribbean Night at Cascades Restaurant
- Tuesday: Wild Game Night at The Wobbly Barn and Mexican Night at the Lookout Bar and Grill
- Wednesday: Wine Tasting Dinner at Hemingway's Restaurant
- Thursday: BBQ Night at Mogul's Bar and Grill and Celebration of Seafood at Santa Fe Steakhouse
