Lincoln, NH (Sunday, January 25, 2004) - Loon Mountain, along with Court Appointed Special Advocates of New Hampshire (CASA), will be hosting its 5th annual “Winter Snow Golf Open” on Saturday, February 7, 2004. CASA of New Hampshire is a private, nonprofit organization committed to speaking for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the New Hampshire courts.

“It’s an overall great time for a great cause. Even if you are not golfing, anyone can come and enjoy the dinner and live auction,” said Christine Hill of CASA of New Hampshire. “You have to see it to believe it.”

Teams of four will ski, snowboard or snowshoe between holes on a 9-hole slope-side golf course. Individual entries will be grouped to form a team. Golfers compete for various awards – closest to the pin, longest drive and worst score. Each participant will receive an all-day lift ticket, goody bag, a ticket to the après dinner and live auction and ski, snowboard or snowshoe rentals. Golf clubs will be available.
