Op Girls Learn to Ride Comes to Jiminy Peak February 7

Hancock, MA (Sunday, January 25, 2004) - Op Girls Learn To Ride (Op GLTR), the innovative series of girls-only action sports clinics, will host a snowboarding day on Saturday, February 7, 2004, at Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Hancock, Massachusetts.

Open to girls and women ages 8 and up, the Op Girls Learn To Ride snowboarding day includes a 90-minute beginner snowboarding lesson, a full day lower mountain lift ticket, full day snowboard and boot rentals, a grab bag containing CD's and other goodies, and entry into a raffle of snow sport accessories, clothing, CDs, and other prizes.

The all-girl lessons will take place at 9am, 11am, and 1:30pm, and participants should arrive at least one hour prior to their desired lesson time to ensure time for parking, check-in, and rentals. The cost of the day is $52.00 with pre-registration and pre-payment through the Op Girls Learn To Ride website, www.opgirlslearntoride.com. The cost without pre-registration is $60. Pre-registration is recommended, as the event is limited to the first 100 participants, and may sell out. A portion of the proceeds from the day will be donated to the Boarding for Breast Cancer Fund, which supports breast cancer research.

On the day of the event, participants should check-in at the Op Girls Learn To Ride tent in the Upper Courtyard of Village Center at Jiminy Peak. Remember to bring a major credit card to use as a deposit for snowboard and boot rentals.
