Super Bowl Specials Abound at Eastern Mountains This Weekend
Albany, NY (Wednesday, January 28, 2004) - In an effort to drag football fans off of their couches and onto the slopes this weekend, many Eastern resorts will be offering financial incentives to get out and make some turns.
At Sunday River in Maine, $79.95 per person will buy you a 2-day lift ticket (Sun and Mon), one night lodging at the Snow Cap Inn or slopeside condo, a Perfect Turn clinic and admission to the big screen party at Saturday's Cantina. For those who just can't let go, the resort will show the game on the big screen at the Jordan Grand Resort Hotel and the Grand Summit Resort Hotel, and other bars and restaurants along the access road will also broadcast the game. Call 1.800.543.2SKI to book the package.
Also, any Sunday River guest with a paid ticket valid Sun. Feb. 1 will receive a free midweek day of skiing, valid after Feb. 23, 2004. This coupon does not apply to tickets obtain through Ski and Stay packages and guests must have their coupon and valid lift ticket to redeem.
Rock and Roll Super Bowl takes place on Sunday at New York's Whiteface Mountain, near Lake Placid in the Adirondack Mountains. Adult lift tickets will be reduced to $35, and juniors to $15. Drink specials, rockin' tunes, and great chow to help you "pig" out will all be featured during the showing of the game on a 7-foot screen, and the Lawn Chair Ladies will perform during the pre-game and at the half.
Vermont's Killington Resort is throwing more than footballs to skiers and riders this Super Sunday. In celebration of one of America's favorite sporting pastimes, Killington is offering up free skiing and riding to guests who purchase a lift ticket that includes Super Bowl Sunday.
Every guest who purchases a lift ticket that includes Super Bowl Sunday, Feb.1, 2004 will receive a lift ticket valid midweek after Feb. 23, 2004 until the end of the season.

Guests may reserve a 3-day ski and stay package including lodging on Sunday night from $309 per person.
