Mountaintop Brunch & Special Discounts for Moms on Mother's Day at Squaw Valley USA

Squaw Valley, CA (Wednesday, May 5, 2004) - To celebrate Mother's Day this coming Sunday, Squaw Valley USA is offering free Cable Car rides to High Camp or half price lift tickets to moms, when accompanied by a son or daughter purchasing a regular lift or Cable Car ride ticket. The resort is inviting the whole family to treat mom to a special day of skiing and snowboarding, ice skating, swimming and a mountaintop Brunch buffet at High Camp, el. 8200'.

The special Mother's Day Brunch is available from 11am to 2pm and includes a full buffet for $25 adults, $15 children 12 and under ($20 and $12 respectively for season pass holders). The menu includes many brunch favorites including eggs benedict, French toast, scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, assorted croissants, muffins and scones plus carved roast beef and turkey and more. Moms also receive a complimentary glass of champagne and a flower.

Squaw Valley USA is open for skiing and snowboarding daily with six lifts in operation and plans to remain open through the end of May, conditions permitting. The Cable Car is open from 8:30am to 4pm on the weekends and 9am - 4pm midweek and the Olympic Ice Pavilion and Swimming Lagoon & Spa are open from 11am-4pm. Use of the Swimming Lagoon and Spa are included for free with all daily lift tickets.
