Whistler (BC), Canada (Thursday, May 20, 2004) - The Extremely Canadian World Tour is heading south in early September 2004 to track down the powder stashes of the Andes, and they're confident that the goods will once again be found in the freeskiing mecca of Las Leñas, Argentina. For the thrid consecutive year, Las Leñas is Extremely Canadian's destination of choice for two trips: September 4-11, 2004 and September 11-18, 2004.
“We’re all over Las Lenas like a fat kid in a candy store” says Extremely Canadian’s Peter Smart. “Our guides blow-away clients’ expectations by fully exploiting the vast and challenging terrain that makes Las Leñas so legendary.”
Las Leñas, a cozy and understated village, is located in a snowy corner of Argentina. The base facilities are of an international level with three hotels, 10 diverse restaurants, bars, a casino, a shopping center and a complete infrastructure to serve its multinational clientele. It offers more lift-serviced terrain than any other ski area in the Southern Hemisphere with endless chutes, steeps and couloirs that are surrounded by the magnificent scenery of the Argentinean Andes.
Extremely Canadian’s guides who will be there to explore the terrain with their guests.
