Management Changes Pending at Brundage

McCall, ID (Monday, May 2, 2005) - The Brundage Mountain Company Board of Director’s has announced that the company is combining the offices of President and General Manager into one position and the Resort has begun a search for that person.

Judd DeBoer, who has been President of Brundage Mountain Company and its parent company, Osprey Resorts, Inc. for the past 19 years, said, “With the growth and complexity of Brundage operations, we believe we can streamline management to achieve maximum efficiency. Brundage will have a full time President combined with General Manager duties, reporting to the Board.”

DeBoer will remain on the Board, representing his family’s 50% ownership of Brundage. J.R. Simplot Company owns the other 50%. DeBoer as a board member will continue to oversee the pending land exchange.

Larry Shake has been with Brundage Mountain Resort for 22 years and has been in the ski industry for 32 years. Shake will remain with Brundage assisting with the land exchange process and the planning that will ensue. “We are fortunate to retain Larry’s services in this transition and his extensive knowledge of land exchange technicalities will be valuable,” said DeBoer.

Brundage Mountain Resort opened as a ski area with one chairlift and an A-Frame Lodge 44 years ago. The three founders were McCall lumberman Warren Brown, Olympian Corey Engen, and Jack Simplot. It has grown over the years and in 2003-2004 hosted 122,000 skier visits. Results for the season ended April 10 have not yet been released.
