Construction Underway on New Ski Condos at Kicking Horse
Golden (BC), Canada (Monday, May 23, 2005) - Construction of the newest condominium hotel project at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is underway with well over half of all the units sold. Palliser Lodge, a four-story, 46-unit condominium style building is located in one of the premier locations at the resort, situated just a short walking distance from the Gondola Plaza and offering the convenience of ski-in, ski-out access as well as views of the Rocky Mountains and slopeside activity.
"We knew there was a great buzz about Kicking Horse, but are thrilled with the response to Palliser Lodge," said Rod Nadeau, President of Palliser Lodge. "There is a large group of people who have watched other resorts flourish and appreciate the incredible real estate opportunity that Kicking Horse presents. There are not many opportunities out there where people can be one of the first to own property at a world-class resort."
Palliser Lodge offers one, two and three-bedroom units as well as luxury penthouse suites. Units range in size from 612 square feet to 1,583 square feet, with prices starting at $249,900 Cdn. Each unit comes completely furnished with many custom options available, including designer color packages and private hot tubs on the larger decks to name a few. The building will feature concrete construction for durability, soundproofing and low maintenance costs.
Completion of construction is expected by Spring 2006. An optional rental pool will be available for homeowners with reservations managed through Kicking Horse Central Reservations.
The complete build out of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is expected by 2010 - a mix of town homes, single family lots, condominium lodges and hotels together with shops, bars, other commercial amenities, additional terrain, and a variety of recreational opportunities.
