New Real Estate Marketing Director for Durango Mountain Resort

Durango, CO (Monday, May 30, 2005) - Durango Mountain Resort (DMR) has announced that Catherine Gervais has taken the position of Real Estate Marketing Director. She will assume all marketing responsibilities for the real estate company at the southwestern Colorado ski and snowboard resort.

"Her extensive experience in marketing and public relations made her the perfect candidate, and we're excited to have her join the team as our new projects are coming online," said Durango Mountain Resort CEO Gary Derck.

Gervais previously worked as Corporate Marketing Director for Shamrock Foods, and has done contract work locally for Durango Community Access Television, Mercy Medical Center and Comcast Cable for the past several years.

"I'm thrilled to become a part the Durango Mountain Resort team, especially as DMR's new master plan is becoming a reality," said Gervais.

One of Gervais' first projects will be Phase II of Engineer Village. Over the winter, another 11 lots sold in Phase I, now 95% sold out. The demand has led to the early release of Phase II homesites.

There are just 17 Phase II homesites being offered, each featuring a wooded or mountain meadow setting and views of the Purgatory ski trails and the village's namesake, Engineer Mountain. The new homesites are comparably larger than Phase I, ranging in size from one-third acre to nearly an acre, with building envelopes that maximize the scenic vistas and preserve the alpine forest location. Engineer Village has complete municipal services provided by the Purgatory Metropolitan District and a state-of-the-art telecommunications infrastructure. The neighborhood also features an extensive trail system with direct access to the national forest, a tennis court and a tot lot for the kids.

The 25-year Durango Mountain Resort master plan includes six total villages and 1,649 units on 612 acres. Most of the units will be concentrated in an expanded Purgatory Village at the base of the ski area, with remaining units spread through five residential neighborhood villages.
