Massif du Sud Ski & Snowboard Season Kicks Off Tomorrow

St.-Philémon (QC), Canada (Friday, December 9, 2005) - The ski and snowboard season commences at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow at Quebec's Massif du Sud. Only one trail will be available, the ski school slope, but it is covered wall-to-wall with snow, General Manager Rene Godbout says.

Ski area officials are offering a reduced lift ticket rate of $15 CDN for adults and $10 CDN for juniors, including all taxes. Both of the mountain's lifts are expected to be in operation by Friday, Dec. 16.

Massif du Sud has completed summer renovations to its base lodge. All three levels will be open to the public within the next week.
