Celebrate Easter at Snowbird

Snowbird, UT – Easter gets an early start this year. This Sunday, at Utah’s Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort the holiday begins with a free Sunrise Service on 11,000-foot Hidden Peak. The festivities continue at 9 a.m. with the annual free children’s Easter Egg Hunt on and around the Chickadee ski run at the base of the ski area.nThe non-denominational Sunrise Service on Hidden Peak begins at 7:06 a.m. Free Tram rides to the service begin at 5:40 a.m. with the last Tram departing the Snowbird Center at 6:53 a.m. Should weather not cooperate, the service will be held on the Snowbird Center Plaza Deck or in the nearby Alpine rooms. Complimentary hot chocolate will be served, and music will be provided by local favorites Kevyn & Rex. Participants will not be allowed to board the Tram with skis or snowboards.

The free Easter Egg Hunt takes place on the Chickadee run and features the Easter Bunny. The Easter Egg Hunt will be broken up into three age divisions: 4 and under, 5-7 years old, and 8-11 years old. The event begins at 9 a.m. and participants should meet on the Plaza Deck with their own Easter baskets.

Easter Brunch will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Atrium Restaurant and the Aerie Restaurant, both located in Snowbird’s Cliff Lodge. Special menu items include three pepper roasted prime rib, cherry cola glaze bone-in ham, assorted sushi, a chocolate fountain and more. Reservations are recommended by calling (801) 933-2182. The Forklift restaurant on the Snowbird Plaza Deck will also be offering a full breakfast menu from 7:30 to 11 a.m.
