Portland Gets Ski Fever

Portland, OR – Six million dollars’ worth of gear, resort exhibitors, and athletes will all gather in the Portland Expo Center November 4-6 for the 35th annual Wentworth Subaru SkiFever & Snowboard Show, that for the first time this year will also feature the SkiFever BrewFest and Oregon WineFest.

Many of the Portland area’s best retailers present the single largest ski and snowboard sale in the state during SkiFever, with gear prices slashed from 40-70 percent off. Visitors can also buy and sell used gear and clothing at the event’s giant Ski Swap. Up to 26,000 guests are expected to attend. Sellers receive 80% of their consignment price if their item sells.

New attractions join the event this year include the SkiFever Freeride Film Fest, Zoom Balls,  Next Adventurer’s video game challenge, Power Jump trampolines and a BrewFest including Deschutes Brewery, Eastside Distilling with their variety of spirits flavors and various Oregon wines and ciders. Free tastings will be handed out throughout the show, and you can purchase your favorites on the show floor.

Admission costs $14 at the gate for adults, or $3 for kids 6-12. Two-day admission costs $18 for adults. Everyone who attends will receive a two-for-one lift ticket to Mt. Hood Meadows.
