I was at Jay Dec 26-29. With the exception of Dec 27, I'd say redeye's assessment is correct. Coverage in the trees is sparse, especially where it's steep, and I suffered far too many core shots hunting for fresh. There was plenty of fresh, light pow to be had on Dec 27 though (10-12"...
