Kapow.... it rained consistently on Saturday and then hardened up over night. Sunday was awful... nothing good about it. The woods, trails... all bad, very very bad. Forecasts for rain all week is a sure bet up here. You might want to rethink your trip up to Jay. Things are in a very bad state...

Skied Jay today, snow was light, fluffy and plentiful. Its about time to see some accumulation like that. Conditions were deceiving though...looked like heaven, but was actually pretty dangerous. Good amount of powder on some really scary ice. We need this weekend storm to really come through...
